TaperWall tubes offer maximum variation in wall thickness. The result is increased strength with reduced weight. Easton’s ultra-smooth wall transitions transfer impact energy freely down the length of the tube. So shock is dampened without compromising stiffness. TaperWall multiplexing creates multiple reinforced wall zones - effectively gusseting tubes on the inside. The unprecedented control of Easton TaperWall technology allows each tube to be precision engineered for its specific application.
Easton’s EC90 and road bar both feature intelligent flexibility. This means that the fork stays stiff and rigid when needed for high-performance cornering, yet absorbs the pounding of the open road for unparalleled riding comfort. Intelligent flexibility in our carbon road bar provides incredible rigidity when it’s time to stand up and sprint, yet absorbs the pounding of the open road with more forgiveness than aluminium.
