HASA Hard Tail Mountain Bike SLX 30 Speed

I like this bike a lot but it took me a while to get there. Initially there were a few things that needed sorted. The gears weren't set up properly, nor the forks lock out. I adjusted these myself but then continued to have problems with the gears slipping. Eventually worked out that the main link on the chain wasn't ever put together properly (found out after the chain came undone when riding!). Got a new chain fitted and then everything worked smoothly. Only other thing that needed sorting were the handlebar grips. The one that came fitted just kept slipping round and round on the bars and were also very uncomfortable. Changed those out. Anyway, after all that fiddling (and the best part of $100) the bike is great. I've used it in one 50km single track race so far and it held up very well. The weight/strength/specs specs are ideal for endurance races. Very responsive. I like it a lot now and will be using it in an Anaconda Adventure race later this year. So, for the price it's worked out very well and I would recommend it (provided you are ok to fiddle a bit to get it 100%).
