Great shoe at a great price.
I did not know what to expect with these shoes as I have a much dearer Shimano full carbon shoe around the $400 mark. I was pleasantly surprise when I opened the box to find a good looking shoe. I was even more impressed to find these shoes were a wide fitting as I have wider half sized fitting feet and most road shoes are a narrow fitting. Another thing I liked about these shoes was that the top and botton straps were directed to the outside of the shoe while the middle strap was from the outside of the shoe to inside. I believe this leads to a firmer more comfortable fitting shoe. I found the ratchet locking system to be every bit as good as my dearer Shimano shoe. I found it easy to engage the ratchting system and equally easy to release. Clipped into the pedals I found the shoe to be firm and comfortable and the extra width allowed for more flexing of the toes when needed allowing better foot circulation. The shoe was as easy on the foot in and out of the pedals and while walking around. The shoes come with a great set of cleats and the Wellgo Look type pedals with the deal stack up very well as stead. I would say a complete package at a great bargain price. AS far as I'm concerned this is a AAA+++ package deal not to be sneezed at.
