8 Speed Cassette Review

By: on 22 June 2019
I have had this cassette on my commuter bike for the last two years. I ride the bike to work regularly and travel 200km per week. For the price the cassette has worked well and only now is showing signs of worn teeth on the sprocket. I have ordered the same cassette as a replacement

great value shimano alternative fast delivery

use these on my 8 speed e bike. With a 46 tooth chainring the 11-23 gives a great gear range, having both the 11 and 12 is really useful.

Good value

Good value product, but the finish is probably not quite up there with Shimano equivalent although that doesn't appear to affect performance. After riding with it daily for 2 weeks, no complaints.

Customisable

19 September 2017
Good cassettes to play with. Use a tiny screwdriver and a dab of wd40 to undo. You need gripshifts or a really tweaked chainline to jump 19->23 and 14->13 if you make a 11-12-13-14-16-19-23-28 with an 11-23 and 11-28. The 19->23 is tricky I tried a shimano 23t cog designed for 20->23, still searching for a better 23t cog.
